What is a typical Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for low volume manufacturing in China?

According to Herman Pang, Co Founder of Dragon Innovation, in January 2018 the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) - the smallest order size that a manufacturer will accept - are as follows for low-volume high-mix manufacturers.

  • Electrical components (e.g. Processor chip, Bluetooth chip etc): 3000-5000
  • Cell phone components e.g. camera module, slim speakers: 50,000
  • Final assembly of finished goods: 5000-10000
