An innovation strategy is a multi-year strategic plan to put in place enablement tools and programs within an organization to help its employees become more innovative and entrepreneurial, and to help the organization itself realize business value either via revenue growth in for-profit corporations, cost savings and productivity improvements for all types of organizations, or broaden their impact in not-for-profit organizations or government entities.
